Today, 28th February 2016( Sunday) , UPM had organize a Dogathon event at Bukit Ekspo, it was actually suppose to held last year at the end of October if not mistaken, due to the rabies outbreak, they delay until today. Oh ya and since its a Sunday, I skip church for today.
So I went there quite early because I wanted to participate in the Dog Race, according to schadule the race was suppose to flag of at 7am, I even scroll their FB page and they requested participants who are interested to join this to come before 6.30 to register, and yes I did come early, the road that my car is coming in was so dark but hey, I better be early than late.
OK, so reach the spot, a little bit of confuse where to park my car, end up making a U-turn after coming to a media/volunteer parking spot. Oh ya, my dog (Jane ) and my mum accompanied me today.
By the time I off my car engine, Jane was already so excited, coming down the car and jumping and wagging, ( once a year meet so many of her friends, she ought to be excited ), walk to the field, btw, UPM has prepared a healthcheck counter at the entrance, every dog is to be checked to ensure they are suitable and able to join for this event. Do not want to let aggresive dogs come and bite or hurt others . As it was quiet dark only their torchlight and cell-phones light, they were not quiet organized, but the examination was quick and I just wanna get her out of there already.
Went to the booth to register for the events for the day, same issue, it was so dark, and I could not really hear what they are telling me (they were explaining about the games), so I end up registering for the Dog Racefor RM20, RM10 as deposite, you can claim it after the race.
Hang out around the starting point, watching other dog owners bring their pet in one by one. So cute, so many variety, poodle, shih szu, pomerian, husky, golden retriever...
1. They were too many of us, path to small, could not overtake.
2. The bigger dogs were mostly in the front leading the way
3. Participants in front of me with bigger dogs , 2-3 of them making a horizontal line, hardly get to bypass any , even when bypass, already too left behind
4. I think I was overwhelm and I accidentally step on a small dog's tail while running, Sorry :(
5. The path was longer this year, haha and I am getting OLDER, out of breath so soon!
So yeah, after running, I got a little bit dizzy, vomited a bit . After resting enough, time to go and visit those booths and walk around. Here are some pic

Went to almost every booth, get their samples, register as member blah blah blah, and some you have a small piece o coupon voucher thingii only you can go and claim it. It was so hot so I was not really keen of staying there any longer, oh ya, and I bought Smartheart can food, 3 cans for RM10 only, besides giving me a free hand fan, and new new blue collar for Jane. I even asked my mum to go buy another 3 to get another set, and she got bonus samples as well. So worth it!

And I met and chat a little while with my ex-classmates / ex-prefect, its a future Dr Vet you guys are seeing here.
